Asia’s ‘Prince Charming’ Now Dragon King of Bhutan
The secluded Himalayan kingdom of Bhutan has officially crowned Prince Jigme Khesae Namgyel Wangchuck yesterday, November 6. The newly crowned king is now the fifth ‘Dragon King’ of Bhutan and will also lead the Wangchuck dynasty. The Oxford University-educated king now becomes the world’s youngest reigning monarch today at the tender age of 28.
The newly crowned king is well-regarded by his people due to his ‘diplomacy, charm and finesse.’ Overseas, his princely image and boyish good looks also caused sensation especially in Thailand where his legion of female fans dubbed him as ‘Prince Charming.’
So, what do you think guys and gals? Can King Jigme finally become the modern face of the little-known Bhutan and make this landlocked country popular? I guess that is something to think about as only time can tell at this point.
