Alejandra Andreu of Spain Wins Miss International 2008
Three is indeed a charm!
An 18 year old senorita named Alejandra Andreu from Zaragoza, Spain has been crowned Miss International 2008. Miss Spain, a hot favorite among the audience also won the Miss Photogenic award and became the 3rd woman from Spain to win the crown. Fellow Spaniards, Pilar Medina and Silvia de Esteban, went home with the prestigious crown in 1977 and 1990.
Below is the complete list of winners in the 48th edition of the pageant:
1st runner-up: Miss Colombia (Maria Cristina Diaz Granados)
2nd runner-up: Miss Poland (Anna Tarnowska)
3rd runner-up: Miss China (Chang Wei Liu)
4th runner-up: Miss Czech Republic (Zuzana Putrarova)
Special awards
Miss Photogenic: Miss Spain (Alejandra Andreu)
Best in National Costume: Miss Aruba (Niraysa Lispier)
Miss Natural Beauty: Miss Belarus (Tatiana Ryneiskaya)
Our very own Patricia Fernandez (pictured above) was one of the Top 12 semi-finalists (along with Ecuador, Japan, Lebanon, Puerto Rico, Turkey and Venezuela). The recently concluded beauty pageant which is now overshadowed by it’s contemporary due to its traditional approach was held last November 8 at the Venetian Macao Resort-Hotel in Macau, China.

nagdownload ako non notebook template. binasa ko lahat ng andun sa scripts. napansin ko na yun (em)(/em) sa “read the rest…” e ikaw na ang naglagay non. kasi wala ako nakita na italic dun kundi sa .css. the best jan e idownload mo na lang uli un notepad template saka mo na lang uli itweak yun sa “read the rest…”
