Learn to Speak Japanese English!

Reminder:
Please note that I am not bashing anyone with this post as the pictures that you will see here were just forwarded to me via email. I just want to share the images because I find it very hilarious – that’s it!

There was a saying that when it Rome, do what Romans do so I guess when you are in Japan guys and gals, learn to comprehend their Japlish (Japanese English) for your own safety. ^_^

1. Is the sign telling us to go towards a toilet?

2. Maybe in Japan, there are ‘males’ who are not ‘man’. What do you think?

3. Bring your own tissue, I guess.

4. The restaurant must have been promoting a Cheese Fair. But it has a different meaning if you are really afraid of the cheese, right? ^_^

5. They can construct their own water, cool!

6. Warning: Don’t you ever jump in the elevator, otherwise you’ll end up in jail!

7. Japlish ‘L’ is substituted with ‘R’…and this is what happens!!!

8. I believe this means ‘breastfeeding room’

9. Foot care, body care, head care and what????

10. Only in Japan: A price hike is well advertised!

11. Pray while listening to MP3. How pious!

12. Who wants to work here? Looks like they are hiring.

You know cyberfriends, the pictures above made me laugh so hard. However, this also made me think that in Japan, it’s quite alright to make such kind of mistakes because they preferred the Japanese language than a foreign one. Now, I wonder what will happen if these kind of signs are seen here in Manila? What do you think guys and gals?
