Sherylee Sustiguer Crowned as Miss Turismo Pilipina 2008
Sherylee Sustiguer, a 5’7” morena beauty bagged the first ever Miss Turismo Pilipina crown last November 14, 2008. Apart from making a pageant history by succeeding to clinch the first ever title, Sustiguer, who represented Northern Samar also won a package consisting of P2 million worth of house and lot, P250,000 cash and other exciting prizes from the corporate sponsors.
First runner-up went to crowd favorite, Ferina de Paz of Muntinlupa. She was also a recipient of several special awards. Emmerie Cunanan from Antique was adjudged second runner-up.
The 3 hour beauty pageant, hosted by Miss Universe 1st runner-up Miriam Quiambao and tv personality Hans Montenegro was held in AFP Theater. The newest beauty pageant was organized by Miss International 2005 Precious Lara Quigaman, Bb Pilipinas International 2006 Denille Lou Valmonte and Bb Pilipinas 2002 Karen Loren Agustin-Ostrea.

cyberfriends, a little birdie told me also that ms turismo pilipina is also a controversial pageant dahil hindi daw nagustuhan ni madam estella araneta na mga bb pilipinas titleholders ang nag-organize nito…hmmmm…intriguing ah!
aba akalain mo na siya ang nanalo, magkatext pa kami niyan nong 1 araw e(feeling close)!ahehehe!magandang project yan para marecognize ang mga pinay sa kagandahan at hindi sa scandals!

Si Miss Cunanan, yong second runner up, taga amin siya. I was supposed to write a short news report about her sa pandan site ko, pero di matuloy-tuloy. Tagal na pa mandin yon kasi November 15 pa yon e, na-air lang sa TV noong November 22. Pati ako tuloy proud din, parang feeling maganda na rin ako.
