Mexico is Miss Beach Beauty in Miss World 2008

Mexico is not only fierce in boxing but also in the world of pageants!
Anagabriela Espinoza Marroquin of Mexico won the Beach Beauty competition in Miss World 2008. As the winner of the fast-track event, Miss Mexico can sit back, relax and stay pretty as she earned one of the Top 15 semi-finalists spot and a possibility of winning the Miss World 2008 crown this coming December 13, 2008 at Johannesburg, South Africa.
First runner-up went to Tansey Coetzee of South Africa. Ksenia Sukhinova of Russia, a bookmaker’s favorite was also named second runner-up. Angola, India, Lebanon, Puerto Rico, Spain, Venezuela and our very own Danielle Castano , Miss Philippines rounded up the top 10! Wow, not bad for a newly crowned beauty queen who only prepared for 2 months!

Completing the Top 25 were the representatives from Australia, Colombia, Croatia, Egypt, Kazakhstan, New Zealand, Paraguay, Serbia, Thailand, Trinidad & Tobago, Turkey, Ukraine, United States, Uruguay and Zimbabwe.
The next fast track event is the Miss World Top Model to be held in December 3. Let’s cross our fingers guys and gals that Danielle would win this one so that she’ll get an automatic spot in the semifinals. Break a leg, Danielle!
