Another fast track event has been completed in the ongoing Miss World 2008 Pageant and this time hold your breath everyone as the stunning Ksenia Sukhinova of Russia bested over 100 delegates for the Miss World Top Model competition yesterday, December 4. First runner-up went to Miss Angola Brigith dos Santos while 2nd runner-up went to Miss India, Parvathy Omanakuttan. Representatives from Angola, Czech Republic, Croatia, Curacao, Mexico, South Africa, Spain and Venezuela completed the magic 10. In case you are wondering, our very own Danielle Castano, Miss Philippines failed to clinched a spot in the top ten but was selected in the top 32 of the mini-pageant.

Sukhinova who is a 21-year old model from Nizhnevartovska now officially advanced to the  semifinalists position and will have a chance to win the crown this coming December 13, 2008 at Johannesburg, South Africa. Her win of the sub-title award solidify her chances as she also earlier won a 2nd runner-up position in the Miss Beach Beauty fast track competition last December 3.

The next Miss World Fast-Track Event will happen today, December 5. And again, the 112 delegates will have an equal chance to win the Miss World Sport award. Just like the previous fast-track events, Miss World Sport’s eventual winner will automatically be given a spot in the top 15 and a chance to win the crown on December 13, 2008.
