Born in a very talented family of opera singer, a musical director and a prima ballerina – Natalie Olivia Griffith sings her way to the top when she earned a well deserved spot in the semifinalists’ circle as she won the Miss World Talent 2008 competition in the ongoing 58th Miss World Beauty Pageant in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Canadian born but bred Barbadian, Natalie is no stranger to music and limelight. The black beauty is same schooled with fellow-Barbadian Rihanna and is a third cousin of former NBA basketball player Kareem Abdul Jabar.
First runner-up went to Kathrin Krafuss of Austria. She danced using hula hoops in the talent portion.
Irina Zhuravskaya of Ukraine danced her way to win a second runner-up last December 7, 2008
Delegates from Cayman Islands, Chinese Taipei, Croatia, Denmark, Gibraltar, Indonesia, Ireland, Kazakhstan, Lithuania, Malaysia, Martinique, Mexico, Nigeria, Northern Ireland, Portugal, South Africa also participated during the event.
