Caroline Kennedy vs Fran Drescher for New York Senate?
The Nanny vs The Camelot Princess
Hillary Clinton will be leaving her New York senate seat when she joins Obama’s National Security Team in January 20, 2009. Two famous ladies are now considering in replacing her as a New York Senator:
1. Caroline Kennedy
The only daughter and the only surviving child of the 35th President of the United States John F. Kennedy and fashion icon Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, Caroline Kennedy’s intention to replace Hillary Clinton seems to be not a surprise the rest of the Americans since she is no stranger to politics due to her ‘political bloodline’. Her name also happens to ring a bell in all corners of the world as she is the erstwhile princess of the ‘White House Camelot’ and a member of a political family closest to royalty.
2. Fran Drescher
Fran is widely known for her role as ‘The Nanny’ in a sitcom with the same title. A certified New Yorker, she used her popularity as an actress to launch the Cancer Schmancer Movement, a non-profit organization dedicated to ensure that all women’s cancers be diagnosed while in the most curable stage. Her political aspirations is a bit of a surprise but she recently quoted that she feels that she can be a good senator because she represents every woman and consummate every New Yorker.
So who do you think will take the seat? Will it be Fran or Caroline?
