Bb. Pilipinas 2009 Update: Sandra Inez Seifert Disqualified!
Wow, it seems that number 13 is truly an unlucky number as pageant favorite Sandra Inez Seifert has just been disqualified the last minute in the 2009 edition of the pageant. Apparently, the Bb. Pilipinas Charities did not appreciate her photo shoot from the FHM Magazine.

So, what do you think? Is it really fair to disqualify her? Hmmm…

Moral issues na naman!!I don’t see anything wrong with the pics of Sandra. If the issue has something to do with morality why do all other candidates parade around in skimpy swimsuits also.Whoever stirred up on the disqualification of this girl with a making of a world class beauty queen is making a terrible mistake.Whoever that person or group of persons are it’s totally ridiculous.

if those are the only pics that were to be considered, i think it is not fair to disqualify her.
i don’t see anything wrong with those. in fact, it has the same standards as the pageant itself. i mean, sa mismong pageant, naka two piece din naman lahat di ba?
parang me pagka narrow minded naman kung yung pics lang ang dahilan.

I have to agree with you sir pero alam mo naging technicality lang siguro ay FHM siya nag-post. Men’s magazine for adults pero siguro kung sa Cosmopolitan yan or Metro baka she was not disqualified.

I think bawal naman talaga sa mga binibining beauties ang mga pa-sexy sa FHM. We know that FHM is marketed as an adult magazine and women joining the pageant are expected to be role models and ambassadors to young and old alike.
Ganun din naman nangyayari sa ibang countries di ba? We have heard several cases where a crown beauty lost her title for another because of these kinds of past opportunities that they had accepted.

luto na naman ang sitwayson. baka may na pangakuan na namang kandidata ang organizers na hindi maka pasok because of sandra. her pictures were not obscene for me and i dont find anything immoral on it. she could have been a material for international pageant sayang lang another pride na naman sana for the people of bacolod after maggie wilson. ang tatanga ng mga tao behind the pageant.
baka ang na pangakuan na makakapapasok is candidate number 3. alaga sya ng network eh. if sandra was still a candidate number 3 could not penetrate through the top ten kasi sandra is a strong contender maybe for me thats the reason why they disqualified sandra. but thats fate. still the people of bacolod are proud of you.

This is a private pageant and if the rules state a girl can’t pose in a sexy way in a mens mag or in any sort of pictorial its because Pinays are always being victimized as poor Asian women who end up as “entertainers” or Japayuki’s. Laura Quigman was a sweet girl who represented Philippines as a simple girl who was beautiful inside out. Margie Moran was the epitomy of hi society, grace and poise as a hi fashion Pinay model and she won Miss Universe.Aurora Pijuan a known Pitoy Moreno model was statuesque and had a great walk. Gloria Diaz was a Latina Filipino who was charming and proud of her morena color. Gemma Cruz, very Filipino looking was very educated, soft spoken and those girls WON …Sandra Siefart knew the rules, and her photos on FHM came out. She had no contract with FHM and she also posed in Maxim another mens mag. She projects sexiness and perhaps she should have joined a less strict pageant. You don’t agree then don’t join BB Philippines that wants wholesome image for their contestants….and that is the kind of Pinay we want the world to see…not conform to the worldly slutty viewpoint…have some respect, apparently Siefart doesn’t understand the difference!
Rules state the candidate can’t have any sexy pictorial in magazines or for products. Mens mags are for men to oogle at sexy girls. Maganda si Sandra, bakit she wants to be Miss Philippines? She can easily get modeling jobs. Mga judges said she kept trying to be preaching she is 7th day Adventist pa daw, and all the impression of the judges is that doble cara si Sandra. Kaya she can’t be representing the values of the Pinoy as far as BB Philippines is concerned cuz she is like a chameleon. She wants to be viewed as holy and sexy? diba bawal sa 7th day Adventist to even wear a bikini? The international mens mag won’t put her on covers of FHM, Maxim and Playboy as Sandra but as “Miss Philippines” she can get paid high price for girls to be in “mens skin mags” and maybe after she gets the title, mag bold na talaga. I think the judges weeded out Siefart from the get go. She probably got booted for more than just “posing” sexy.
Too bad. She’s got pageant looks.

Remembering Ma.Isabel Lopez who was a Girard Peter model (a Pegasus-like night club way back then) and won the crown. She became a softcore actress afterwards. Today, she continues to attend the reunion of past Binibining PIlipinas winners in the annual Bb. Pilipinas coronation and receives recognition for winning a title.
Minsan naiisip ko, ano pa kaya ang natitirang kredibilidad ng Binibining Pilipinas? Janina San Miguel?! C’mon….
What duh?! What’s wrong with those pics. They should really allow her to join the pageant. She’s one of my favorites. And I am really sure that she can be one of the winners. She’s a much better contestant than other finalists. If she was only allowed to join, I bet she would be part of one of those three major awards.

Well now there are 3 new BB Philippines, and lets all be happy. The country is proud, the sponsors are happy with fresh faces without scandals haunting their names, and forgive and forget. OK NOW MOVE ON!
Sandra Siefart is now a candidate in Miss Philippines and then she will set her sights in Ms. Earth contest until she can get a title. Maybe she just needs an ego boost but come-on na, parang attention whore yata si Sandra.
Stella A did her a favor by rejecting her cuz mas maganda and sweet looking si Gerbach. Sandra got what she wanted cuz now she got all the publicity to be a sure win in Miss Philippines Earth–pero kawawa naman the rest of the candidates for Miss Earth Philippines, kasi parang “fixed” na sure win si Sandra Siefart as Miss Philippines and then Miss Earth just to spite BB Philippines Stella A..

Why do you think will the Bb. Pilipinas will want to compromise its integrity to a ????? Even if there is ‘nothing wrong’ with the semi-nude pix, SHE MUST KNOW BETTER! That’s besides the fact that the Bb. Pilipinas is the boss of its joint.

If you buy it and read FHM you will know any girl who poses in that mag is accepting that men are going to use their image as sexual fantasy object.

which is more sensible arguments: a candidate who still aspired to be the binibining pilipinas, yet with a ’sensual’ poses in a mag, was barred from making her dream come true; or an already crowned beauty queen (in fact there are a handful of them) who ought to be showing off a true legal essence of a filipino woman in her lifetime (not just for a year), but instead became involved in any provocative advertisements and movies, thus jeopardizing the image quality of being the Binibining Pilipinas?
what is this national pageantry for, other than its inherent beauty element? i think, other than beauty or brain, the Committee ought to reconsider as well the moral behavior (aptly relevant to the image she wants to imbue on her) being a filipina, uniquely as she is! in other words, the focus should not only be narrowed to ‘before’ and ‘during’ the competition. but, as equally important too, also ‘after’ and even ‘post’ reigning moments of the lady being crowned! after all, her being the binibining pilipinas is not just a one-year title, but a life-time responsibility to be a good precedence to the filipinas!
this beauty contest ought to aim at highlighting annually the binibini, among the many, having possessed an exotic beauty, an unparalled brain and a gracious behavior!
