Kristen Dalton, a 22-year old blonde beauty from Wilmington, North Carolina, is crowned Miss USA 2009 at the conclusion of the 58th annual Miss USA competition.

As the reigning Miss USA, Kirsten will spend her year-long reign making special appearances on behalf of the Miss Universe Organization, its sponsors and affiliated charities. She will also represent the United States at the Miss Universe 2009 pageant to be held at the Atlantis Paradise Island, in Nassau, Bahamas on August 23, 2009.
