Senator Benigno ‘Noynoy’ Aquino III: Is he really the one for 2010?

Like many others, yours truly became ecstatic when Senator Manuel ‘Mar’ Roxas announced that he will back out from the Presidential race in 2010 because he is now throwing his support for Noynoy to run the highest position in our country.
I said to myself…
Finally, a truly deserving tandem for President and Vice-President in 2010 has emerged!
But can Noynoy win all the oppositions’ vote?
So far – Makati Mayor Jejomar Binay and Senator Francis ‘Kiko’ Pangilinan dropped their precious 2010 political ambitions to join Roxas’ bandwagon.
Surprisingly, former President Joseph ‘Erap’ Estrada also gave a hint that he will no longer run as long as the entire opposition unites behind Liberal Party’s Senator Benigno ‘Noynoy’ Aquino III.
Wow, can this be real???
Every popular politicians above are aiming for the country’s welfare?
Speechless ako nung una kasi. Sana laging ganito. Ang galing naman!
At sana rin, hindi magbago ang ‘political climate’ sa atin dahil baka heto na yung hinihintay nating lahat na pagbabago.
Pero sa ngayon…
Let us wait and see. Because people would still want to know:
Ano ba ang magiging plataporma nila pareho if elected?
Abangan na lang muna natin ang susunod na mga kabanata!

what I am dying to know is kung aatras ba ang ibang kandidato.. kase pag umatras sila, malaki na nag laban nila kay hello garci LOL

hmmmm ok naman ug ginawa ni mar pero ang tanong e worth it ba yung ginawa nya? ayaw ko ata bumoto sa isang presidentiable na napipilitan lang
ako din, lukewarm kay Noynoy. Wala pa naman akong naririnig na plataporma that would convince me na he is the one. tama ka, wait and see lang muna.

I guess If you’ll gonna ask me Noynoy can win the 2010 Election but I feel na hindi pa sya ganun ka hinog. If ever he would run he needs to do a lot of works.

I’m also on the wait-and-see mode. I am praying for Noynoy’s discernment. (But hearing Kris Aquino’s thoughts on the matter is a lil disturbing but well…can’t do anything to shut her up so I’ll just take it all in stride.)
I am glad that Mar gave way and if the others will also give way then this country may just move forward. But we have big problems to solve and having an inspiring leader as well as someone who is not corrupt and who has integrity will definitely be a BIG help.
But then again, 6 years lang yun. We have a long way to go…

@pinaybackpacker – i agree. i’m quite dismayed with kris’ remarks but hey, with the current political line-up noynoy is the most sensible person to be vested with the title – ‘president elect’ sobra na…palitan na natin ang panduck sa malacanang! *LOL*
parang nakakabigla yata, noynoy has not proven anything yet, I don’t hear any significant things he had done so far since he became a senator, hope people will make a good choice not just riding on the popularity of the family name
