Victoria Radochinskaya from Rostov-on-Don, Russia has won the title of Mrs. World 2009, in a competition held in Vung Tau, Vietnam last Sunday, November 22.

The 31-year-old beauty queen is said to be married for 8 years and has one son named Bogdan.

First runner-up went to Andrea Robertson of United States America. While, Vietnamese Hoang Thi Yen was named second runner-up. Rounding-up the Top 5 finalists were India, Brazil and Poland.

Our very own Daisy Reyes-Igbal (Movie Actress, Bb. Pilipinas-World 1996, Miss World Personality 1996, Mrs. Philippines World 2009) was also included as one of the semifinalists along with Malaysia, Costa Rica, Cote d’ Ivoire, South Africa and England.

Mrs. Denmark Alexandra Bach Ternstom won Mrs. Congeniality, Marine Carine Davison from Cote d’Ivoire as Mrs. Ao Dai (traditional Vietnamese tunic) and Mrs. Hong Kong ChenJiyuan was named Mrs. Traditional Dress among the 76 finalists from 75 countries and territories.

The annual beauty contest for married women is now in its 30th year and regarded as one of the most prestigious contests on the global fashion circuit. The annual pageant will be held next year in South Korea.
