California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger

It has been reported that California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger is coming to the Philippines on February 7.

The governor is expected to visit Manila along with California State Assembly Speaker Willie Brown. The Hollywood actor-turned-politician will be also accompanied by a group of Filipino-Americans experts on urban planning during the state visit.

According to Butch Meily of the Philippine Disaster Recovery Foundation, Schwarzenegger will visit areas affected by the Typhoons Ondoy (International Name: Ketsana) and Pepeng (International Name: Parma). The actor-politician will also assist the Philippine government in the reconstruction and rehabilitation efforts for the typhoon victims.

It has also been reported that Schwarzenegger might also have an audience with President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo during his one-week stay in the Philippines.
