The 2010 MTV Video Music Awards will always have the tradition of staging risky fashion statements of Hollywood celebrities. Pictured below are the memorable ladies during the event:

Katy Perry in a dress made by Marchesa. She was gorgeous in that outfit but she reminded me so much of Skating Princess Nancy Kerrigan minus the skating rink. Good thing that didn’t match the dress with figure skating heels – and she’s ready to skate in the snowy carpet. *grin*

Lady Gaga in a gown by Alexander McQueen. She was very chic in this outfit but I don’t like the feathers sprouting on her head. But hey, she is Lady Gaga so it was understandable to see her like this.

Actress/model/singer Ciara was stunning in a gown designed by Givenchy. Her gown is my favorite gown of the evening. It was edgy but classy. Differently amazing!

Disney star Selena Gomez was probably the cutest young Hollywood star during the event. Her gown designed by Reem Acra screams high fashion in a sweet way. Love it…love it…love it…
