Dax Shepard is set to star with Kate Aselton in the film “The Freebie.” The movie is also directed by Kate Aselton and will be due for release today, September 17, 2010. The independent film revolves around the story of a married couple who would both have one night stand with a stranger for each of them. Interesting, isn’t it?

Co-star and Director Aselton is impressed with Shepard. She said:

Whether it’s being totally ridiculous comedy on Punk’d or doing what he does on The Freebie, it’s the same thing. He’s an incredibly strong improvisational actor, and he literally could improvise circles around me.

Hmmm, looks like Dax Shepard is now performing and really growing as actor!

But to be honest, I have thought of him heading to stardom when I first saw this guy acting in the film “Zathura” before.
