Philippine action star Robin Padilla tied a knot with television presenter Mariel Rodriguez in India last August 19, 2010. There are also verified reports that the two tied a knot again in Baguio City officiated by an Ibaloi priest last September 13, 2010.

The news is literally shocking the Philippine showbizlandia nowadays due to the following reasons:

There is a 14 years age gap to deal with. Robin is 40 years old while Mariel is 26.

It was apparent that there were confusions because people thought of the ‘marriage’ as a promotional gimmick for Mariel’s upcoming television show.

So, let me ask too…

Was the marriage for real, for reel or both?

Anyway, even if I am not both a fan of you…

It appears to me that you really love each other as you both risked your careers for this love to be on the next level.
