RIP Gloria Stuart
It has been reported that Gloria Stuart – the 1930s Hollywood actress who gave up acting for 30 years and later became the oldest Academy Award acting nominee for her role in Titanic as “100-year-old Rose” has died in her sleep on September 26, 2010 at the age of 100.
The beloved actress began working in Hollywood in the 1930s. In her youth, Stuart was a blonde beauty who starred in more than 40 films, including the “The Invisible Man” (1933), “Poor Little Rich Girl” (1936) and “Rebecca of Sunnybrook Farm” (1938).
