Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo Engaged!

Nick Lachey (36) and Vanessa Minnillo (29) are engaged! The cute couple, who started dating in 2006, told US Magazine:

We’re excited and incredibly happy about our engagement and we look forward to a wonderful future together.

The former 98 degrees singer also confirmed the good news through his Twitter account. He said:

Yup, me and V are engaged. True love flex!!… I popped the question on bended knee. I do a lot of squats so my knees are very strong.

Reports also said that Lachey made the former beauty queen the happiest woman in the world by proposing with an Asscher-cut diamond ring from Bader & Garrin on bended knee. Geez, how sweet! *blush*

This will be the walk down the aisle for Miss Teen USA 1998 Minnillo and the second marriage for Lachey, who was previously married to singer/actress Jessica Simpson for three years.
