Shalani Soledad Joins Showbiz
Shalani Soledad is back again in the limelight and this time – not as a girlfriend of President Noynoy Aquino, but rather as a host of “Willing Willie” on TV5. She is now officially co-hosting the show along with controversial television host, Willie Revillame.

Hindi ko siya type mag-host kasi parang siyang kindergarden teacher. Sana hindi na lang niya tinanggap yung hosting job para kay Willie Revillame.
Pero ano pa nga magagawa natin kung malaki ang offer….

she’s fine as a beginner, one with zero exposure to the entertainment industry. no point of comparison with other personalities who are already in the business.
the twist of events was too fast, she didn’t expect it either. she’ll improve in the long run, just like any beginner. she’ll pick up the pieces as she gets along.
her honesty to herself as vividly seen and feel in her words and movements will invite a hundred of her fans and more to like her even better. i’m pretty sure she’ll make it. it’s because people see in her the simplicity and humility that define the true and real Filipinos. her projection in the tv screen is real. that’s what make her click to Filipino viewers. they see themselves in her.
shalani’s appearance in the wide screen is the most effective means of the philippine tourism to promote Philippine culture. i suggest that willie revillame include a segment that is cultural in nature and shalani to host it .
