Bokang Montjane Wins Miss South Africa 2010
Bokang Montjane was crowned Miss South Africa 2010-2011 at Sun City on December 12, 2010. The 24 year old beauty from Honeydew Ridge, Johannesburg runs a modeling school based in Auckland Park. Dhesha Jeram from Contantia, Cape Town was adjudged first princess while Bianca Coutinho from Bedforfview, Johannesburg clinched the second princess title.
The stunning black beauty bested 12 candidates for the title and will also have the chance to represent her country in Miss Universe (August) and Miss World (December) in 2011.
This is not the first time that Montjane was crowned as she is already considered a pageant veteran in South Africa. Bokang previously represented South Africa in Miss International 2009 and have also represented her country in Miss Earth 2007. However, pageant organizers of Miss Earth South Africa relinquished her crown as she failed to fulfill the duties required of a titleholder.
