Cory Quirino: New Miss World Director for the Philippines
Ms. Cory Quirino has been named the new Miss World director for the Philippines!
The famous Filipina talkshow host and wellness guru secured the rights to organize the oldest major international beauty pageant in the Philippines after Fusion Excel International (FE) has been appointed to manage the selection of the 2011 Miss World candidates in Malaysia and the Philippines.
The Miss World license was previously owned in the Philippines by the Binibining Pilipinas Charities Inc. (BPCI). The new announcement will now give BPCI the rights to send winners to Miss Universe and Miss International beauty pageants starting 2011.
Congratulations to Ms. Quirino and may you give the country with first Miss World crown!
