Miss Universe 1974 Amparo Munoz of Spain

Miss Universe 1974 Amparo Munoz of Spain has died due to a lingering sickness at her home in Malaga last Sunday, February 27. She was 56 years old.

Amparo, known to pageant historians as one of the controversial Miss Universe renounced her title 6 months after winning it in the Philippines. She ventured into movies back home and starred in several movies from 1979 to 2003.

Farewell Amparo Munoz – may you rest in peace!
