Candidate Number 7 Roxanne Cabanero is officially out of the Bb. Pilipinas 2011 pageant due to an alleged photo scandal found on an adult site that was later revealed on various blogs and pageant fora.

The photo scandal has been denied by Cabanero on TV Patrol and insists that it was not her on the picture. She even reported the internet gossips to the Binibining Pilipinas Charities Inc (BPCI) to clarify the matter. However, she was caught off guard when a BPCI lawyer asked her to just drop from the pageant to avoid further speculations.

Roxanne said that BPCI’s decision on her case is not fair since she is the victim in the incident. She said on TV Patrol:

Sana naman konsiderasyon na matagal ko ring pinangarap ‘to and then it’s not easy to go into this process, ang pumasok sa Binibini.

Ang sakit.

In the end, Roxanne was left with no choice but to leave the pageant because of pressure. But she approached the help of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) to identify the controversial blogger who claimed that she was the person on the alleged photo scandal.

BPCI hasn’t issued yet a statement regarding the disqualification of 3 candidates but the pageant officials stand firm that they were merely implementing their rules and regulations.

As of press time, Cabanero is the third candidate taken out from the Bb. Pilipinas pageant. Previously, Grendel Alvarado and Jenilyn ‘Jen’ Olivar were disqualified due to a naked photoshoot they have done during their stint in Philippines’ Next Top Model.
