Johanna Solano Crowned Miss Costa Rica 2011

Psychology student Johanna Solano was crowned Miss Costa Rica 2011 in a pageant held at the Children’s Museum Auditorium on March 25, 2011. The 20 year old winner stands 1.75 meters tall (5’9”) and will represent her country at the Miss Universe 2011 in Sao Paolo, Brazil this September. 

Solano bested ten finalists for the crown.  Interestingly, she is also considered a favorite to take home the title as she was previously crowned as Miss Latin America in the World 2009 (Miss America Latina del Mundo 2009).
