Young star AJ Perez (real name: Antonello Joseph Sarte Perez) was killed in a highway accident early Sunday morning (April 17).

The 18 year-old actor/model was pronounced dead at 12:20 am due to ‘multiple head injuries’ which he sustained after the ABS-CBN van got hit by a bus and a truck in San Julian, Tarlac.

AJ just finished a show for the annual Bangus Festival in Dagupan, Pangasinan and tweeted this message:

AJ Perez was a member of ABS-CBN’s Star Magic Batch 13. He rose into stardom when he played the role of Candido ‘Dido’ Sandoval in ‘Sabel’ opposite Jessy Mendiola. He was also paired with Lauren Young in ‘All About Your Love’ and was one of the members of “Gigger Boys.”
