Miss California Alyssa Campanella Crowned Miss USA 2011
Alyssa Campanella was crowned Miss USA 2011 at the pageant finale held at the Performing Arts in Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada on June 19, 2011. The 21 year old Miss California USA 2011 bested 50 other candidates during the glittering event and was crowned by Miss USA 2010 Rima Fakih of Michigan. Campanella will represent the United States in the Miss Universe 2011 beauty pageant in Sao Paulo, Brazil on September 12, 2011.
