The 91st Miss America pageant will be held at the Theatre for the Performing Arts in Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas in January 14, 2012. Miss America 2011, Teresa Scanlan from Nebraska, will crown her successor at the end of this event. It will be broadcast live on ABC. All 50 states plus the District of Columbia, Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico will compete for the prestigious title.
