Pasig Congressman Roman Romulo and Valenzuela Councilor/TV Host Shalani Soledad exchanged their vows in a simple but classy wedding ceremony held at the St. Benedict Church in Ayala Westgrove, Silang, Cavite on January 22, 2012. The wedding was officiated by by Rev. Msgr. Bartolome Santos Jr., Gaudencio Cardinal Rosales, Bishop Mylo Hubert Vergara, and Rev. Fr. Isagani Avinante at the 500-seat church.

The 31-year-old bride wore an Inno Sotto gown while the 44-year-old groom wore a midnight-blue tuxedo by Hugo Boss.

Albert del Rosario (Foreign Affairs Secretary), Manuel V. Pangilinan (chairman of TV5, phone giant PLDT, diversified conglomerate MPIC), Ramon Ang (president and CEO of diversified conglomerate San Miguel Corporation), Panfilo Lacson (Philippine senator), Ben Chan (Bench founder), James Gaisano and Manuel Dy served as Principal Sponsors.

Showbiz personalities were also present during the couple’s special event. Among those spotted in the star-studded wedding event were Richard Gomez, Lucy Torres, Mariel Rodriguez, TV5 bosses Bobby Barreiro and Jude Sta. Ana, Karen Davila, Valenzuela Mayor Sherwin Gatchalian and Ronald Singson.

Reception follows at the Nuvali Evoliving Center in Laguna.
