Laura Beyne from Brussels was crowned Miss Belgium 2012 on Sunday, January 8, 2012 at the Casino de Knokke in Knokke-Heist. She is only 19 years old and stands 1.73 meters tall. She was crowned by the outgoing queen, Miss Belgium 2011 Justine De Jonckheere from West Flanders.

Laura will represent Belgium in Miss World 2012 and Miss Universe 2012. Laura Beyne was the first runner-up in Miss Brussel 2012. The first runner-up was Aurore De Geest and the second runner-up was Jade Moens. The top five completed with Febe D’Haenens and Sherelle De Jong.
