In less than four day, the latest Twilight Saga film – Breaking Dawn Part One, will premiere in movie on Friday, November 18, 2011. Watch the trailer below:

The film stars Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner.

Oh well – looks like this Twilight film will be another mega hit as there are already 700++ Twilight fans lining up for the Monday premiere!

Charlize Theron plays the role of the Queen Ravenna while Kristen Stewart plays Snow White, the only person in the land fairer than the evil queen. Snow is destined to destroy Ravenna by training the art of war with a huntsman.

Iranian actress Marzieh Vafamehr has been sentenced to 90 lashes and a year in jail for her role in “My Tehran for Sale” – a film about a young actress in Tehran whose theater work is banned by the authorities.

The controversial movie received harsh criticism in the conservative circles and had not been approved for screening in Iran and was being distributed in the country illegally.

Vafamehr was arrested in July after appearing in ‘My Tehran for Sale,’ which came under harsh criticism in conservative circles as the film was accused of painting a black picture of Iran and Iranians.

“Twilight Saga” actress Kristen Stewart is on the cover of the British GQ magazine’s November issue. The 21-year-old actress is seen wearing a retro bikini, red lipstick and wavy long hair.

The magazine which will hit stands in the UK on October 6 also revealed what Kristen’ thinks on her body differently now that she’s gotten older.

Interestingly, she dished out too on GQ magazine that her boyfriend is English!

Hmmm, isn’t obvious? Robert Pattison is from UK!  Paging Twilight fanatics – that’s a giveaway clue already!

Rumor has it that a Sex and the City prequel will be coming to the big screen with four leading actresses already been cast for the key roles!

According to the Daily Mail, Blake Lively will be cast as Samatha Jones, Selena Gomez as Charlotte York, Emma Roberts as Miranda Hobbs and Elizabeth Olsen, younger sister of Mary Kate and Ashley will be cast as Carrie Bradshaw.

The movie will be based on Candace Bushnell’s book “The Carrie Diaries” and “Summer and the City” (published this year) which follow the character of Carrie Bradshaw’s young life during the early 1980s and part of her life in New York as a writer.

Warner Bros has released the first image of Anne Hathaway as Catwoman in the upcoming  film “The Dark Knight Rises.”

The photo presents the image of the actress as Selina Kyle, the alter ego of Catwoman wearing a black bodyhugging latex and a goggles while riding in an awesome motorbike. The updated costume obviously ditched the pair of ears that we usually saw in the previous portrayal of Eartha Kitt, Julie Newmar, Michelle Pfeiffer and Halle Berry.

Actress Michelle Williams has been cast as Marilyn Monroe in the upcoming biopic titled ‘My Week with Marilyn.’

The film is about Monroe’s experience in England (year 1957) during a week she abandoned her Hollywood career and is about to start shooting in London. It was also reported that Julia Ormond is playing Vivien Leigh after Catherine Zeta-Jones dropped out and Dougray Scoott is playing Arthur Miller.

Temptation Island 2011: All Kapuso Stars

The upcoming remake of ‘Temptation Island’, the 1980 sexy-comedy film directed by the late Joey Gosiengfiao has been finalized by Regal Films.

Marian Rivera, Lovi Poe, Solenn Heusaff and Heart Evangelista will be playing the role of beauty contestant finalists of different social backgrounds stranded in a desert island without food, water and shelter.

As of press time, ‘Machete’ star Aljur Abrenica, model Paulo Avelino, and former PBB housemate Tom Rodriguez are already named as their leading men. One more actor is expected to join the remake soon and he’ll be Marian Rivera’s love interest in the movie.

Also joining the cast are Rufa Mae Quinto and John ‘Sweet’ Lapus. Shooting will start by mid-April in Ilocos Norte.

The stars will begin shooting in Ilocos Norte by mid-April.

Aljur Abrenica, Paulo Avelino, and Tom Rodriguez are also cast in Temptation Island as the leading men.

Regal Films and GMA Films, the producers of the remake, are still looking for another male actor who will serve as the second love interest of Marian in the film.

Chris Martinez will direct the remake of the movie Temptation Island. He also helmed the play Temptation Island: Live that was staged at the Cultural Center of the Philippines in 2003. Direk Chris also megged the comedy film Here Comes The Bride (2010) and “Gunaw” episode of My Valentine Girls (2011) starring Eugene Domingo and Richard Gutierrez.

Rufa Mae Quinto and John Lapus are also part of the remake which filming starts by mid-April 2011. Helming this project is Chris Martinez, the same director of “100? and the Star Cinema hit “Here Comes the Bride.”

GK Films has acquired the film rights to the videogame heroine Lara Croft and will be coming back to the big screen. However, reports say that Angelina Jolie will no longer play the role of the sexy heroine.

No cast has been named yet but the movie is expected to be shown on theaters by 2013. Producer Graham King also revealed that he will be tweaking the rebooted version of the franchise to create a new Lara Croft on the silver screen.

Sounds exciting, isn’t it?

But IMHO, looks like the soon-to-be Lara Croft will have a big shoes fill to be at par with Angie!
