Hard-hitting journalist Ramon “Mon” Tulfo and action star Raymart Santiago got in a fist fight at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3 on Sunday, May 6, 2012!

The airport brawl, where Santiago’s wife actress Claudine Barretto also got involved was caught on video and uploaded by glamchiq00 on You Tube. The controversial video now has over 1 million views and has also received 8,803 comments as of this date. Check it out!

Yesterday, the Pasig City Regional Trial Court (RTC) dismissed the video scandal case against ex-doctor Hayden Kho Jr. due to ‘insufficiency of evidence’. The court also sacked the P100 million civil damages claimed by actress Katrina Halili against Kho.

However, the dismissal of Hayden’s case has no bearing to the Philippine Medical Association (PMA) and the Philippine Regulatory Commission (PRC) as the court’s decision has nothing to do with the pending immorality charges that Kho is facing before the Commission. The cosmetic surgeon was suspended by the PMA due to ‘conduct offensive to the profession’ and was also suspended by the PRC for 2 years on that basis.

Explained by PRC medical board member Dr. Restituto Ocampo:

The court case has nothing to do with the revocation of his license. These are two different cases, the one pending before the PRC is administrative.

PMA President, Dr. Oscar Tinio also added:

Ethical concerns are different from legal concerns. The PMA has found him guilty of violating our Code of Ethical Standards and it has nothing to do with the law.

Hubert Jeffrey Webb has been acquitted in the Vizconde Massacre case. The Supreme Court justices voted 7-4-4 in favor of acquittal (7 voted for acquittal, 4 inhibited and 4 for guilty).

The son of former Senator and actor Freddie Webb was acquitted together with Antonio “Tony Boy’ Lejano II (son of Pinky de Leon and nephew of Christopher de Leon), Michael Gatchalian, Miguel Rodriguez, Peter Estrada, Hospicio ‘Pyke’ Fernandez and Gerardo Biong.

The decision was made fifteen years after Hubert Webb and six others were imprisoned in 1995. They were convicted twice for the case – in 2000 by the Regional Trial Court of Paranaque and in 2005 by the Court of Appeals for the massacre of a mother, 47 year old Estrellita Vizconde, and her two children, 7 year old Jennifer and 18 year old Carmela, in Paranaque on June 30, 1991.

Wendy Tabusalla was crowned as the first ever Miss Resorts World Manila at the Newport Performing Arts Theather on November 11, 2010, 8PM. Tabusalla is a People Management Association of the Philippines (PMAP) model and an AB Mass Communication student from Southville International School. She bested 28 women for the title. Aspiring UP filmmaker Maxene Mamba and Fil-Aussie model Anthea Murfet were also respectively appointed as first and second runners-up of the pageant.

Apart from the privilege of being the Resorts World Manila (RWM) Ambassador, Tabusalla won a P500,000 cash prize, one year hotel accommodations and an employment contract with RWM. The first-runner up will receive a Php100,000 cash prize, a Star Cruises package worth Php50,000, and an employment contract with RWM, while the second runner-up will bring home Php50,0000 and an employment contract with RWM.

Bb. Pilipinas-Universe 2010 and Miss Universe 2010 4th runner-up Venus Raj has added another feather to her cap by being hailed as an adopted daughter of Manila.

Raj paid a courtesy visit to the city capital of the Philippines on Tuesday (September 13, 2010) wherein Mayor Alfredo Lim and other city officials welcomed her warmly.

Lim presented the beauteous Raj a key to the city. In the statement during the event, Lim also stated that:

Hollywood actress and UNHCR Goodwill Ambassador Angelina Jolie expressed her opinion in Islamabad on Wednesday regarding Pastor Terry Jones’ plan to burn copies of the Muslim holy book on Saturday, September 11.
E! News reports:

“I have hardly the words that somebody would do that to somebody’s religious book,” she told reporters in Islamabad after returning from overflowing refugee camps in the northwest part of the country.

Jolie agreed with top U.S. officials that the would-be protest being organized by Pastor Terry Jones could endanger troops in the field and be used by the Taliban and other militants as a propaganda tool to stir up anti-American sentiment and spark a wider clash between the West and Islam.

So, what can I say?

I adore her for being beautiful, fearless and outspoken.

Her kind is rare these days.

Angie is indeed one of a kind as she is not only ready to save the world in the movies but also in real life.
