American stand-up comedian, television presenter Daniel Tosh is now being applauded for crashing the website Celebrity Networth. The site is created in order to determine how much the celebrities are worth.

So, how did that happen? Well…

Daniel Tosh mentioned the site on his Comedy Central show Tosh.O last night which could have sent so many people curious and got the Celebrity Networth flooded with users.

Topics on religion always causes a stir among people and as much as possible, talking about the issue during parties, meetings or gathering is being avoided.

Online, looks like Google is taking a different approach about the matter. Take this simple test:

Type in ‘Christianity is’ at Google and you will find a bunch of negative recommendations on their drop down. Here is the screen shot below:

Now try it with a number of religions and you will see the same thing.

But when you type in ‘Islam is’, Google seems to systematically blocks the search. In fact, there is no recommendations at all. Look at the screen shot below:

So why is Google blocking the search recommendations?

Google explains how its Google Suggest feature works:

As you type, Google Suggest communicates with Google and comes back with the suggestions we show. If you’re signed in to your Google Account and have Web History enabled, suggestions are drawn from searches you’ve done, searches done by users all over the world, sites in our search index, and ads in our advertising network.

Power.com has sued Facebook, a San Francisco based aggregator of social networking sites, on Friday. The new player in networking site sued Facebook in a California court to try to resolve who owns data on social networking websites — users or the sites.

The small Web company named Power.com lets users simultaneously access several social networks, including MySpace and Twitter. But Facebook did not join the bandwagon and disallowed Power from doing so. In fact, Facebook filed a lawsuit against Power over it last yer.

Facebook said it will fight a countersuit filed by Power.com, saying the company puts Facebook’s member information at risk.

Hmmm, let the data wars begin!
