Sara Chafak has been crowned Miss Suomi 2012 (Miss Finland 2012) at the Vanajanlinna Castle located in the town of Hameenlinna in southern Finland on Sunday evening, 29th January, 2012.

Laura Beyne from Brussels was crowned Miss Belgium 2012 on Sunday, January 8, 2012 at the Casino de Knokke in Knokke-Heist. She is only 19 years old and stands 1.73 meters tall. She was crowned by the outgoing queen, Miss Belgium 2011 Justine De Jonckheere from West Flanders.

Nozomi Igarashi was chosen to represent Japan in Miss World 2012. The 24-year-old corporate employee from Yamagata Prefecture will travel to Ordos, Inner Mongolia in July and will try to become the first Japanese Miss World. She stands 1.76 m tall.

Road to Miss World 2012 Comité Miss Angola recently announced that Edmilza Nicósia Mota dos Santos will compete in Miss World 2012 at Ordos, Inner Mongolia next year (July 2012). The 20 year old beauty was supposed to compete in Miss World 2011 but withdrew because of visa problems.

Ivian Sarcos of Venezuela was crowned Miss World 2011. Ivian is 22 years old and stands 1.80m tall. Sarcos is a diplomacy student and was studying to be a nun. She was crowned by Miss World 2010 Alexandria Mills of United States.

The preliminary judges of the Miss World 2011  have decided to declare Top 30 finalists for ‘Beauty With A Purpose’  instead of  Top 10. The announcement was made through their Facebook account today, November 3, 2011.
